During my previous role as the PR & Marketing Coordinator for the Kentucky Humane Society I worked with a dedicated team of professionals to advocate and increase awareness for shelter animals. I managed the @KYHumane social media platforms and created inspiring content to promote dogs, cats, and horses, as well as fundraise to ensure we could continue to help the animals and people in our community. I was able to start our Instagram fundraising and successfully raised over $25,000 since November 2023. I grew the KHS TikTok account by 60% from 23,200 followers to 38,530 followers, and had 8 viral videos. I truly enjoy working in digital media as it is ever-evolving and there is always more to learn and ways to grow. As a communications professional I pride myself with my ability to form relationships with others. My favorite part of the jobs that I have had to date is getting connected with different people, learning their stories, and helping them achieve their goals. Having amazing interpersonal skills is something I strive for.
