ABOUT MEHey, I'm Ally!I am a travel enthusiast, Crossfit lover and passionate designer & biz owner of the slow fashion brand, Malia The Label.During 2020 when Covid Lockdowns became a thing, i was studying Branded Fashion Design at Billy Blue College of Design. I had come to the big realisation that my wardrobe was full of fast fashion 'trends', synthetic fibres and cheap garments that fell apart in a short time span. As a 20- year old designer to be... this no longer fitted with my style, or my values as a person after learning so much in my degree about the importance of sustainability. So as covid hit - i found a lot of spare time on my hands & started reinventing my wardrobe, sewing up new pieces and revamping my style; which led me to taking the leap and starting a brand, Malia The Label.I had a vision to create a slow fashion brand that was consciously designed for timeless and versatile wear, but was also made ethically from sustainable fibres and in small batch quantities.
