IDAS is the largest specialist domestic abuse charity in Yorkshire providing innovative and responsive support services to people affected by or escaping domestic abuse and sexual violence.I support victims of domestic abuse, through safety planning and risk management which is monitored by regular risk assessment. I assess and identify areas of support required and signpost and make referrals to relevant agencies. I advocate for my clients in meetings such as Core Groups and Child Protection Conferences. I manage my own caseload and prioritise to ensure my workload is manged efficiently and all work recorded on the case management system. I liaise closely with other agencies to promote multi-agency working and professional partnerships. I have developed and delivered awareness sessions to clients and provided shorter term support for victims and professionals through the helpline.

Remedi are one of the UK’s leading facilitators of restorative justice services across the youth and adult criminal justice arena. Established in 1996 with the simple aim of offering victims of crime the opportunity to engage in a restorative intervention with the person responsible.My main duties were to co-ordinate placements for young people who have been given reparation as an intervention on their court order. I completed inductions to match young people with a placement and facilitate the reparation sessions whilst working with the service user which would often involve managing challenging and confrontational behaviour. I liaised with multi-agency stakeholders and would write detailed reports and log all contact on the case management system. I would update the stats spreadsheet as required and every quarter would collate and present the data to management according to my kpis.
