• Reconciled portfolio of long/short equity securities on a daily basis, including trading activity and calculating realized gains/losses.• Reviewed monthly fund reports from administrator to ensure completeness and accuracy.• Monitored compliance and filed required SEC forms.

• Plan, supervise and review audit deliverables for alternative investment clients, including domestic and offshore hedge fund, fund of funds, master feeder funds, private equity and venture capital funds.• Manage all aspects of financial statement audit process including risk assessment, planning & developing the audit approach, budgeting, administration, supervision, review, client service and reporting.• Assist in valuation and pricing of clients’ portfolios with exposure to domestic and foreign equities, as well as derivative products including options, futures, and swaps.• Responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships throughout the year as well as acting as liaison between principal, client and staff.• Provide on-the-job training for various staff and provide constructive feedback informally as well as through a formal evaluation process.• Assist client in preparation of year-end financial statements including detailed footnote disclosures and audit opinions to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.• Assist with on campus recruiting, interviewing candidates and teaching training courses to associates of the firm• Extensive knowledge of hedge fund accounting, audit and tax issues, including review of partnership/LLC agreements, partner/member allocations, contributions and distributions, management and performance fees, investment valuations, internal controls, footnote disclosures, and financial highlights.
