About Ally Duong
When I was little, my parents would treat me with trips to the local bookstore. Many days, I would leave empty handed but with the memories of the stories I devoured in my head. Though, on some occasions, I left with a shiny new book clutched to my chest. As I handed the crumpled money over to the cashier, I made it a game to calculate how much change would return to my hand, trying to beat the cash register. My love for literature and quick thinking (and creating games) has never gone away as I explored other interests throughout my school life from archery to history. I always came back to reading books and exploring my imagination. Which brings me to the present! I am a junior Academic Excellence Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas studying Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing who is always eager to learn new things and to experience great adventures. My passion for the humanities paired with my STEM background in Data Science will sure make things interesting! Thank you for connecting with me on my journey. Please feel free to message me or contact me at ally.u.duong@gmail.com. I look forward to chatting with you!
