About Ally Grace Gentry
Passionate, creative, and learner — these are three words that describe my personality in both the professional and personal setting. I am currently a senior at Auburn University studying Public Relations with several leadership positions within my involvement experience. I have experience in the workforce everywhere from retail, to food, to childcare, and more. My experience working with children and my desire to develop meaningful mentorships has encouraged me to seek out work within education or youth ministry. I have plans to begin a certification program in January 2025 to allow me to teach within Texas schools. Working with Pine Cove camps, The Oaks Retreat, and youth groups through church has allowed me to grow in my public speaking abilities, instructional and educating capabilities, and relationship building skills. The EAG supervises all lifeguards during their time on-stand, as well as leads the weekly in-service training that ensures their skills are up to standards.

As a visual designer for The Oaks Agency, I work with my team to create designs and manage the social media for our account, CrossFit On The Plains. Each week looks different, but I dedicate around 3-4 hours a week crafting together graphics for COTP's Instagram that are cohesive and follow our brand kit. My designs go through an approval process to insure they are exactly what the client wants and are always edited when need be. Designs are scheduled around a content calendar that we assemble each month and include posts such as "Athlete of the Week," "Coach Spotlight," and featured posts about various events taking place.

While working in one of the most popular vacation destinations in America, I have had to learn elite customer service skills and how best to work with the public. Often, I am interacting with customers, offering assistance and responding to queries about products and purchases. I document sales by updating customer records and locate merchandise for customers and places orders, where necessary. Another responsibility of mine is the cash register and handling cash payments and credit card processing.
