EDA is a non-profit NGO accredited by UNEP as an International Environmental Organisation.Ally is EDA’s Project Director, Event Planner & Coordinator, Graphic Designer, Writer, Editor, Photographer & Videographer. She created and introduced ‘Divers for the Environment’ back in December 2004 as a free educational tool to share information by scientists, conservationists, underwater photographers, and other like-minded individuals from all over the world with a passion to conserve and protect our delicate marine life and underwater world.She branded and helped foresee the development of Digital Online – EDA’s Underwater Photography and Film Competition from its launch in 2009 and has since managed the event, as well as EDA's Movie Screenings and Cleanup Arabia.

Ally was an Independent Instructor and Camp Manager for North Star, an outdoor adventure company based in Dibba, for groups of school children that came from all around the Gulf region for a three or five day stay. She instructed snorkelling trips, star gazing walks, mountain biking, GPS treks, team games and dhow trips and assisted in abseiling, climbing and kayaking. As Camp Manager, Ally ran the school trips, organised accomodation, oversaw the catering and appointed the instructors and assistant roles as well as being in charge of first aid.She took a school group on a skiing trip to Vienna in February 2009, organised daily skiing lessons and ran emergency hospital runs.

Ally freelanced through the Jumeirah Beach Hotel's Pavilion Dive Centre as a diving instructor doing general dive industry duties including teaching, scheduling and boat driving.

Ally setup and ran The One's design studio, creating branding and packaging designs and working in direct contact with suppliers for print. She created monthly menu designs for The One's restaurant. She also organised the product photoshoots with Contrast Professionals to build The One’s photo library.
