Community Support Services (CSS) is Crider Center's most intensive level of outpatient service, and is a master's level clinician position. The purpose of Community Support is to help support each consumer ‘s community adjustment, which may include teaching community living skills, public education, providing treatment planning, case management tailored to the need of the consumer, crisis intervention to provide timely access to treatment, and coordinated psychiatric and medical treatment. As a CSS, I have developed an extensive network of resources to best assist my client's medical, psychiatric, housing, and financial needs. I work closely with physicians, home health agency's, nursing homes, long term care facilities, and psychiatric providers to development relationships, and strengthen referrals to Crider programs. Extensive knowledge and application of Medicare and Medicaid benefits to assist client's and their family's in choosing providers and available services.Additional duties include: On-Site Residential Community Support for Pathways Assisted Living Facility. Utilize referral network to best support resident's of Pathway's ALF community.The Pathways Assisted Living Facility/I.R.T.S. program is 16-bed enhanced supervision assisted living facility for adult residents of St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, and Warren Counties who have serious and persistent mental illness and who need a stable, structured environment.

In patient counselor in women's residential treatment facility specializing in co-occuring disorders. Provided one on one counseling, group counseling facilitator, and psycho-educational classes. Also provided limited amount of family counseling. Utilized face to face interviews to create psycho-social assessment and individualized treatment plans. Worked with insurance company's to gain approval for services, and strengthen relationships with insurance assessors to strengthen future referrals. Worked closely with integral treatment team of physicians, nurses, and social workers to apply holistic approach to recovery services.

Advocated for victims of domestic violence living in the Greater St. Louis, Mo area by placing them in an assisted living organization, a domestic violence safe house, or finding another safe alternative. Provide crisis case management and linked them to needed resources within community; referring for mental health or co-occuring treatment as necessary. Assisted in fundraising and marketing functions to raise money to support Bridgeway's Women's Center. Worked closely with staff LCSW to provide referrals and further knowledge of domestic violence.

Worked with federal, international and military transportation regulations to support the busiest passenger and cargo operation in the U.S. Military. Accurately performed and executed traffic management activities. Used military and commercial transportation to move personnel, eligible dependents, material, and property.
