Responsible for the overall strategic leadership, program development, and day-to-day management of the Student Life department. Develop and oversee student engagement programs, student leadership programming, clubs and organizations and Student Government Association, and civic engagement opportunities. Plan and execute student activity events. Hire, train and supervise Student Ambassadors. Daily use of multi-platform marketing and communication, including social media and text software, to promote student involvement and retention. Build community partnerships. Assist with and attend open houses and community events to support and promote the college. Oversee new student orientations and campus tours and serve on various institutional committees.

Led all aspects of Athletic Department beginning in its inaugural year, including creating a strategic recruitment plan, the hiring, evaluating and supervision of all coaches and staff, development of policies, budget oversight and management, facilities management, dissemination of sports information, development of academic study-hall program, eligibility and equity reports and maintained the College’s fitness room. Responsible for the recruitment of approximately 50 student- athletes through targeted enrollment efforts and strong partnerships with local high schools. Worked closely with faculty, Center for Academic Planning and Support and Student Life to ensure student success. Active member of the Yankee Small College Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association. Served as the Head Coach of the inaugural Women’s Basketball program competed in the YSCC playoffs. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and gender equity.

Assisted in developing comprehensive co-curricular events, activities, and community engagement opportunities. Coordinated with student clubs and organizations on matters of leadership development, activities and events, and the enhancement of student life. Served as a student advocate and promoted their well-being and their engagement in the college and in the community. Served as the first point of contact for students interested in engagement activities. Attended college open houses and community events to promote college.

Worked daily with middle school aged students who presented with emotional and behavioral difficulties, closely following Individual Education Plans and student accommodations. Supported students academically and worked on the soft skills needed to flourish outside the classroom. Made myself available for extra support both before and after school.

Supervised a 10+ membership staff team, including hiring, training, and processing of payroll using timesheets and ADP. Responsible for the complete enrollment and billing aspects for all YMCA memberships

Worked with High School aged students at a regional special education school who presented with a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Implemented a creative high school instruction program in a highly structured and supportive atmosphere. Closely followed IEPs and student accommodations daily and attended meetings as necessary. Created and conducted small group and individual classroom activities with students based on differentiated learning needs to ensure all students were learning at full potential.
