I'm a 4th-year at the University of Toronto double majoring Criminology Sociolegal studies and History. I'm a passionate advocate of criminal justice and have ambitions to go to law school. As a student, I'm exceptionally involved in the undergraduate criminology community. Currently, I work full-time at the Centre for Criminology Library for the University of Toronto, helping graduate students with research inquiries and creating archival thematic collections on topics relevant to criminal justice and criminological issues. Asides from my work, I am extremely passionate about contributing to my school community either by fostering constructive discussion or through visual arts and expression. Since high school, I have invested significant time as president of the Notre Dame Japanese Culture and Anime Society, dedicated to the spread of education and awareness of Japanese history and culture contextualized in global history. Similarly, I spent time developing my community. Through the Toronto Public Library's Youth Advisory Group, and helped teach young children ages 4 -13 to become proficient in reading, and learn technical skills to help further their education.Now, I am a passionate member of the University of Toronto Criminology Students Association and spend significant time furthering my studies in law and criminal justice.
