Working with a professor at York University to develop marking rubrics for assignments and examinations, assigning grades to same, in a Small Business and Entrepreneurship course.

* Reviewed and updated control worksheets in excel in order to standardize the control process resulting in consistency and accuracy amoung controls performed within the controls and governance team. * Reviewed the processes of document storage and retention within various teams in order to ensure that procedures were being followed and documented. * Co-led a student group project that generated and pitched an idea that would make banking with CIBC more expedient during the current pandemic.

* Corresponded with customers via email and online chat regarding product and order inquiries while maintaining positive customer relationships and turning product questions into sales. * Recognized repeated inquires and worked with the customer service team to develop the best resolutions to common issues. * Identified artwork and printing issues and assisted customers with order setup online achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Managed approximately 150 legal cases moving them through the litigation process efficiently resulting in satisfactory settlements for clients up to $2 million, the maximum allowed under the applicable legislation. * Drafted, proofread, and served legal documentation such as Affidavits, Motion Records, Notices of Examination, Statements of Claim, and Applications for Mediation and Arbitration within the required timelines established in legislation. * Assisted with mediation and trial preparation, which included: creating exhibits and document briefs, serving subpoenas, scheduling expert and lay witness interviews, preparing disbursements, and taking detailed notes during trial.

 Educated college students on English grammar rules, writing skills, studying and editing techniques helping them to improve these skills and complete academic assignments successfully.  Aided international students in improving their proficiency in oral and written communication in the English language.

 Oversaw focus group recruiters in a call center setting, while meeting tight deadlines, and screening respondents per the quality required from various clients. Created and updated excel work sheets which were used to track various data needed to aid in market research.  Wrote regular reports to the Manager and Vice President outlining work completed and the attendance of daily focus groups.  Screened resumes, conducted interviews, implemented training procedures and made hiring and promotion decisions.  Monitored recruiters’ performance and conducted performance reviews in order to improve employees’ recruitment skills.

* Projected calculation amounts for employee pensions with different dates, which allowed employees the ability to make an educated decision as to when to start retirement. * Gained comprehension of several different aspects of the pension initiation process to meet the business need, while transitioning all pension related work to a new facility.* Performed audits based on the pension plan rules set by the client to determine the total years of service an employee received while working with their employer.* Trained colleagues on pension plan audit rules and delegated tasks to colleagues for data organization projects.
