Associate – Worked on a broad range of building types including Workplace, Medical Office, Hospitality and Multi-Family design. Appointed to the Roswell Planning Commission in 2019 by the Roswell GA Mayor and City Council. The Planning Commission provides input into the Comprehensive Plan, recommends changes to the Unified Development Code (UDC), and considers subdivision of land and other land use regulations. The Commission reviews and makes recommendations for rezoning, concurrent variances, and conditional use permits prior to the hearing by the City Council. The Planning Commission is comprised of Roswell citizen volunteers who are appointed by the City Council to deal with land and zoning issues.

Design Manager, Technical Designer – As part of the Work Studio, I managed and designed Workplace projects including CBRE Memphis, Gilbane Atlanta, and Bessemer Trust Atlanta. Held Lead Technical Designer role on other projects such as Shaw Create Center, Columbia Property Trust, Red Bull Atlanta, NCR Midtown, ADP Alpharetta (various locations), PGi (various locations) Delta HQ, Lowe’s, Fitzgerald & Co, Randstad, Verizon, and AIG. Gained further experience in Project Management, including business aspects of establishing fees and modifying contracts and other agreements. Continued experience in code research, detailing, consultant coordination and mentoring of staff.

Associate, Project Manager – Working on managing predominately Corporate design projects. Responsible for designing as well as managing all project needs including programming, space planning, client and consultant coordination, construction documents and construction administration. Managed projects including Nurun, Ingenico HQ and expansion, Internap, and INPO. Supported many other projects including the Coca Cola IT Center for Excellence, Rock Tenn, DS Waters HQ & Call Center, McMaster Carr, Pritchard & Jerden, and various tenant work for 100 Peachtree. Lead and implemented the firm’s transition towards BIM projects in Revit and developed office standards. Mentoring younger designers especially in detailing and CA.

(Contract basis)Worked on a veterinary clinic that offers also boarding and grooming. This is a complete renovation of approximately 8,000 sf over two levels. Original scope included everything from space planning and conceptual design through construction documents and construction administration.Worked on a renovation of a diner. Scope included all new interior finishes, millwork, furnishings, lighting and fixtures as well as minor exterior improvements and landscaping.

Project Interior Designer, Retail Studio – Worked on various regional mall renovations across the United States. I had a lead role in the design of Retail projects including Green Acres Mall, Stones River Mall, The Westchester, Fashion Mall, Phipps Plaza, and The Village at Venetian Bay among others. Other projects outside of retail include the Dunes Preview Center (sales center), The Mercato office buildings, The Strata at Mercato condominiums and The Northern Trust office lobby. Developed broad experience in all phases of design from schematic, design development, and construction documents, as well as construction administration. Gained extensive experience in detailing, millwork, document production, and construction administration. Expanded role in project management and managing staff. Served CAD support and Microstation Development committees to provide ongoing training for employees, documentation of best practices and procedures and improve drawing standard infrastructure.

Tenant Coordinator – Involved with all aspects of development and construction of retail Lifestyle Centers. Reviewed plans and supervised/coordinated all aspects of Tenant construction. Work closely with Leasing, Legal, Development, and Property Management departments to address construction issues relative to specific properties. Develop a close relationship with consulting Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Contractors for overall coordination of the project. Communicate with local City or County officials to review code issues and assist Tenants with obtaining permits. Attended to other issues as necessary such as Tenant Allowance disbursement, legal notices, liens, assisted in bidding process with contractors, and tracking schedules of stores under construction. Worked with Property Managers to maintain design and appearance of property and tenant stores. CAD – Developed a CAD system using Microstation V8 for maintaining and making changes to Lease and Site plans as necessary. Utilizing graphic skills integrating CAD with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other software for marketing and presentation purposes. Coordinating drawings between various disciplines (civil, architectural, site, landscape) to track revisions.

(Self-Employed Consultant/Independent Contractor) Tenant Coordinator - Reviewed plans for stores opening in malls around the country. Negotiated with tenants and architects about design issues. Checked for code compliance. Coordintated multiple tenant projects concurrently, and was responsible for monitoring construction until opening and keeping construction on schedule. Assisted development team with interior mall renovations.CAD - Used Microstation to develop lease plans, “LOD’s” and perform other CAD functions as related to the properties.Computer Graphics/ Marketing - Develop computer renderings, colored plans, and other projects as necessary.
