My identity can only be defined by the constant growth I experience through my journey as a leader, a performer, and an up-and-coming business student. Ever since I was young, I've always considered myself indecisive. However, more recently, I've learned my indecision is moreso an open-minded perspective and a hunger for opportunity. As a passionate business student at NAIT with a love for art and dance, I bring creativity, authenticity, and a deep commitment to community in everything I do. Through my various experiences, I've cultivated a deep appreciation for collaboration, communication, and self-reflection.With experience organizing events, creating and teaching choreography, and managing marketing efforts, I've exposed myself to unique opportunities in leadership, marketing, event management, and project management. My dance club hosts over 100 events each semester, and participates in several performances throughout the year that strengthen our connections with our surrounding dance community and within our team. I work alongside fantastic groups of people to provide students across Edmonton with accessible opportunities to develop their skills and step out of their comfort zones. Currently, I work as the Marketing Coordinator at TradesLink, an innovative networking and job-searching app for tradespeople. During my time here, I develop content, analyze platform performance, and foster business relationships with partners in the industry. TradesLink aims to become a large pillar of support for tradespeople across Canada, with services that allow tradespeople to connect more easily, foster communities in their careers, and find work faster. I value the arts, exploration, and new experiences, always seeking to expand my understanding of the world around me. I hope that through my work, I can continue to develop my capabilities, deepen my knowledge, and inspire others around me to do the same!
