CLAC student attorneys are specially licensed by the state and federal courts to practice in Maine Courts to provide legal services to low-income clients. The Clinic represents low-income individuals with legal cases in Southern Maine courts for most kinds of civil, criminal, juvenile, and family law matters. The Clinic represents clients at both the trial and appellate levels.

Clifford & Clifford, LLC is a Maine firm devoted to fighting for the rights of Maine people. Much of their work focuses on personal injury law, employment law, will contests, discrimination or harassment, special education law, student discipline, and civil rights, but they also handle criminal defense, and business disputes. As their Summer Law Clerk, I was tasked with aiding the partners with all aspects of their cases, from intake to trial. I prepared responses to Motions for Summary Judgments, prepared interrogatory questions and responses, and prepared and responded to requests for production of documents, summarized depositions in preparation for mediations and impending litigation, prepared mediation statements and judicial settlement conference position statements, prepared demand letters for personal injury cases, including indexing all medical records and medical bills associated with the injury at issue and drafted complaints and Maine Human Rights Commission charges in employment cases.

Challenged with a solid core curriculum taught by a first-rate faculty, Maine Law students take advantage of the Law School's strengths in business and commercial law, environmental and marine law, intellectual property and technology law, international law, clinical programs, and trial advocacy. Students actively participate in the intellectual and social life of the school through scholarly journals, student organizations, trial and moot court competitions, and in the community at large through public service initiatives.

PTLA is a statewide, non-profit organization committed to providing high quality, free, civil legal assistance to low-income people in Maine. At Pine Tree, I conduct client intake, client meetings, write closing letters, observe PFAs, PFHs, meditations, divorce hearings, and conduct legal research to assist the attorneys in their advocacy.

At Broadreach, I provided administrative support to retain and attract clients, as well as maintained smooth operations of Broadreach in ensuring deadlines are being met and records are maintained. I actively participated in administration, media relations, client relations, online relations as well as general strategy and tactical planning. At Broadreach, I worked within the core client and media databases while ensuring the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

At Geddy's, I was frequently required to speak French and Spanish international clients in order to provide excellent customer service. Additionally, at Geddy's I learned how to multi-task in chaotic atmosphere without sacrificing quality of service.

As a resident assistant, I was responsible for the safety and well-being of first year students. Additionally, I worked to build a community for residents to create the ideal home away from home experience as they transitioned into a new phase in their life. I served on the Resident Assistant Advisory Board under the Director of Residence Life to advise her on how to improve the department.
