I am currently a school psychologist and Northern Arizona University graduate with an Ed.S. in School Psychology and a certificate in Positive Behavior Support, which allows me to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I worked in ABA as a technician throughout college and graduate school, and I am looking for opportunities to obtain supervision on my way to becoming a BCBA.Currently I serve as a school psychologist at three schools -- a traditional public elementary school and two newcomer schools where I work with students who are new to the US and just learning English. I have experience in assessment, counseling, crisis prevention/intervention, applied behavior analysis, developing trainings/professional development, consultation, research, and MTSS/RTI with diverse populations of students, parents, and educators. My undergraduate minor in Spanish has served me well in building relationships with Spanish-speaking families.Within the field of school psychology, my passions lie in behavior analysis, the science of reading, effective core/Tier 1 supports, using evidence-based practices to support English learners, and data analysis.
