I graduated from Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications:Public Relations and a minor in Business. I went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Findlay in December 2013. My most recent professional experience was at Marathon Petroleum Company as a Supplier Diversity professional in Global Procurement (Purchasing), but I also managed a brand marketing territory for Marathon for about 4 years before moving over to Procurement to broaden my experience. In 2016, I made the decision to step away from my career and stay home with my children. During my time at home, I have worked in a variety of part time positions including a sales role at a gym, as well as substitute teaching.
