The Marketing Communications Coordinator manages administrative and organizational duties in addition to maintaining office services by coordinating and orchestrating office operations and procedures. The position maintains office efficiency and is responsible for all marketing and communications activities of Whipple Consulting Engineers. The position will nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness of and develop an attractive company image for Whipple Consulting Engineers.

Eight to ten undergraduate interns are selected each spring to assist through the next school year with the marketing and promotions of Gonzaga University's 16 varsity sports. Interns are responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing plans, as well as game day operations of men's & women's soccer, volleyball, men's & women's basketball, and baseball. They are required to work a minimum of 4 hours per week in the office as well as nights and weekends as sport schedules necessitate. Interns are selected through an application and interview process. The undergraduate internship is a voluntary (unpaid) position.

• Viral marketing coordination and support, including: website, e-mail newsletter, social networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter and You Tube. • Media correspondence including building press kits, drafting press releases, etc. • Writing content – for publications, viral marketing. This includes conducting interview, writing articles/stories and copy for various marketing tools. • Publicity and promotions• Assisting with producing segments for Valleyfest • Community relations and support including managing promotional booths, grassroots outreach, etc. • Stage script writing and production management. • Customer Service – managing surveys, feedback, etc.• Other office and event duties as assigned
