Whether she is on the basketball court or at the negotiating table, her pursuit of excellence and a job well done is her main goal. Allyssa's achievements in basketball both on and off the court are impressive. Voted Michigan's Miss Basketball and All-American Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year at MSU, she was ranked 4th in all-time career points and rebounds. She also ranked third in MSU history for most made field goals and free throws. Allyssa once held the NCAA Division I record for most blocked shots at 503. She also led her team to a gold metal in 2007 and the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2009. After graduation, Allyssa went on to be a life coach at GVSU for college athletes. Helping through all the pressures, temptations, and pitfalls that often effect collegiate athletes. Nobody advocates more passionately for their friends and clients than Allyssa. Allyssa showed interest in real estate at an early age when she began drawing blueprints of floor plans for her and her friend's future homes. As she got older Allyssa started designing the interiors of friends and family's homes as a hobby, further developing her passion for design. In 2014, Allyssa purchased her first fixer-upper in downtown Grand Rapids with her husband, Aaron. It was a diamond in the rough. While polishing this diamond, Allyssa realized her gift for seeing the beauty and potential in homes. As such, Allyssa is uniquely positioned to help buyers visualize potential in homes on the market as well as bring out the true beauty of the home you're trying to sell.
