Global Risk and Insurance Management System (Origami) As the Project Manager for the Risk and Insurance group within Expeditors, I have managed a range of projects for the team. The primary initiative is to replace two robust legacy systems with a third-party solution and integrate this solution with our existing cargo claims management system. This has required a multifaceted plan that balances vendor management; complex integration between internal and external systems; process change management; with substantial communication and end user training. Strategic Planning and Project Management Practice Standardization Within the Risk Management team, I have facilitated the development of a five-year strategic plan and a sustainable governance process for the department. From this five-year plan, I have developed project plans, where appropriate, and begun to manage to these plans. I have also partnered with Global Services (operations) leadership to develop consistency across our Project Management practice while implementing a project management software solution.

Global Middle Office Migration (Cobalt) As the Program Manager for the global middle office migration program, I managed a global project team and stakeholders across all business lines to implement a centralized investment book of record (IBOR). The strategic objectives were to migrate core services (performance, accounting and reconciliation), in support of all Russell funds and client portfolios, to a new provider. I developed, communicated and executed against a complex plan that balanced new vendor and third-party onboarding; closure of accounts at the current provider; internal systems remediation; and business process change management. My core responsibilities focused on global project communications; internal and external client management; vendor and third-party management; spearheading internal systems and workflow remediation; global change and risk management; contract management.

Global Billing System Implementation (Revport)I stepped in as the project manager of the Global Finance billing system implementation. My duties included mitigation of existing vendor contract disputes and overall project shortfalls; change management, stakeholder buy-in, and training; enforcing consistent and transparent communication practices; and the management of a $1M budget. Investment Management System Upgrade (CRD) and Accounting Book of Record Upgrade (APX)In partnership with a vendor implementation manager and internal resources, I worked with a core team to implement the Investment Management System Upgrade (CRD) and an ABOR (APX) for our Global Trading and Transition Management teams. This project was implemented 20% under budget, one month early and delivered the planned project scope, while achieving an ROI of $175,000. Global Content Management System Implementation (Sitecore)As a part of the global content management system implementation, I managed the support and change management workstream. My duties included constant and transparent communication with other project resources; designing and implementing the global support model; and contract and vendor management. Hedge Fund Software Implementation (Vidrio)I stepped in as project manager of a software implementation, in support of our Alternatives and Hedge Fund team. My duties included management of vendor contracts; change management, stakeholder buy-in, and training; consistent and transparent communication; and the management of a $350,000 budget.
