Across all hospitality venues, my main responsibilities include managing all social media platforms, creating key marketing advertising campaigns, organic content creation, community management, analytical reporting, photoshoot management, and liaising with clients and other brand partners (e.g. photographers, suppliers).

As the city’s economic development board, Brisbane Economic Development Agency (formerly Brisbane Marketing) plays a vital role in growing Brisbane’s economy, driving demand for Brisbane, and creating growth and trade opportunities for local Brisbane businesses.I assist the event, destination, and brand marketing strategy for The City of Brisbane and Queen Street Mall to drive economic growth and visitation, collectively driving Brisbane City Council's vision to deliver a world-class city centre and economic precinct.

The Marathon HQ Assistant’s main role will be aiding in the management of Marathon HQ and associated operational tasks. They will be a key member of the Operations Department of Events Management Queensland. EMQ, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Queensland Government (through Tourism and Events Queensland), manages and organises world-class mass participation sporting events designed to generate tourism and maximize significant economic impact to the community.Under the direction of the Manager – Event Operations, the role will encompass various tasks which are associated with the successful running of Marathon HQ.This included:▪ Assist with deliveries to the site▪ Assist with sign in/sign out of event personnel and site inductions▪ Documenting course crew hours daily▪ Assist with bag drop set up area and consumables▪ Ensure all consumables are readily available for event personnel and manage meal processes▪ Assist with the sorting and organisation of deliveries▪ Assist with storage and organisation of signage and other materials▪ Assist in the organisation of radios and communications▪ Race weekend role – TBC (ASV Management/HQ Communications)▪ Assist with signage dismantle and pack up

My role as APS 2 Service Delivery Officer included:• Greeting clients over the phone professionally in line with corporate policy. • Ensuring security and confidentiality requirements are met before discussing sensitive information• High-level customer service to ensure the best outcome is achieved for the client using clear and appropriate communication for each situation.• Actioning work as per procedures and within relevant time frames.• Granting and declining remissions of penalties and interest within authorization limits, ensuring decisions are fair and reasonable and recorded appropriately.• Negotiating and setting up payment arrangements that are fair and reasonable for both the ATO and the client, based on their individual circumstances.• Evaluating debt and compliance histories before determining the next appropriate actions that allow for the debt to be collected in the most cost-effective way.• Updating insolvent client's records and pursuing or not pursuing applicable debts in accordance with appropriate legislation and practices.
