A temporary role while we relocated to Northumberland. My work involved all areas of court administration including: • Court preparation - papers, video link details, interpreter bookings etc• Inputting cases onto bespoke MoJ database• Maintaining information on the Court Store• Inputting court results including all follow-up with external agencies• Liaising with the CPS, defence solicitors, Police, defendants, Probation and Youth Justice • Arranging video links with Prisons • Listing cases - both criminal and private prosecutions• Answering queries both by phone and face-to-face

Success for All is an evidence-based whole school improvement programme, specifically targeted at improving children’s literacy. It is a not for profit organisation with an annual turnover of around £1.2 million. Reporting directly to, and working closely with, the CEO I managed a team of three and had dotted line responsibility for 9 consultants in the field; I played an active role in every part of the organisation, including sales, marketing, pricing, product development and support services.Key Responsibilities and Achievements included:• Managing complex diary events for the CEO, including all external meetings with national and international partners and the USA based Group Board• Daily briefings with the CEO to discuss business planning• Developed systems to monitor and assess delivery and performance in all areas of the organisation• First point of contact both internally and externally• Developed and implemented marketing campaigns in partnership with the educational consultants• Proof-reading of all SfA materials • Organised and attended all SfA internal and external events such as open days, school visits and conferences• Working closely with the CEO, we turned the organisation from a £600k deficit into a £200k surplus in one financial year by effectively introducing and implementing robust procedures• Managed, coached and motivated the office team of three people• Saved in excess of £100K on printing costs in twelve months • Streamlined and improved the organisation’s operational processes in order to support better management, reporting and planning• Oversaw the development of new and re-written SfA materials• Produced a profitable and transparent pricing structure across 350 product lines• Developed a strategy to move the organisation from a Government and third party funded charity, to a commercial organisation which was self-supporting and financially stable• Managed the relocation of the office from York to Peterborough.

Privately owned company selling advertising space on behalf of three London publishers; brands included Hello!, Sainsbury’s Magazine and The Week. My responsibilities were all day-to-day aspects of running a small office as well as building relationships with both advertisers and publishers.

Ampleforth College is a leading co-educational independent school with over 600 pupils. My main responsibilities included:Key Achievements:• Assisting with the transition as the school moved from predominantly single sex to fully co-educational • Worked directly with the Admissions Director and the Senior Management Team implementing the cultural changes necessary to broaden the appeal of the school• Managed the complex process of a new intake of around 200 pupils each academic year• Member of Marketing Committee whose remit was the design and launch of a new prospectus, DVD and website• Member of the Bursary Committee, established to provide transparency in the decision making of bursary allocations• Provided verbatim minutes for the Marketing and Bursary Committees• Central point of contact, internally and externally, for all admissions queries that included dealing with prospectus requests, parental visits, offer letters, house allocation and open days• Dealt with confidential issues in a sensitive and effective manner• Ensured the department was friendly and served as an open environment for parents and colleagues• Full accountability for the management of the Admissions database; updating and proof reading the New Parents’ Handbook on an annual basis• Performed daily tasks on Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and two bespoke database systems.
