I believe that the integration of psychological and prescriptive data analysis methods can create a data driven approach to optimize the operations of HR and revolutionize its function within an organization.My background in Business, Computer Science and Psychology has uniquely positioned me to identify the importance of improving current hiring practices. There needs to be a greater emphasis on identifying intangible characteristics that are critical for employee success. I plan to utilize data analytics to assist and automate Industrial Organizational Psychology research processes in an attempt to quantify these intangible factors and study their impact in the workplace. This research can help create more efficient tools to analyze today’s dynamic online workforce and assist organizations in building more productive workplace environments.My long term goal is to earn a master's in Industrial Organizational Psychology and pursue a career helping people lead happier, less stressful lives at work.
