I volunteer with Civic Tech DC on strategy, operations, and events, so we can use technology to help local civic causes.

I direct data journalism at CareSet, which includes liberating Medicare/Medicaid data, collaborating with researchers and journalists on topics like provider networks and Covid, and advocating to the government for high quality open data. I also develop data products.

I started at CareSet and its sister company DocGraph in 2014. Since then, I've served our organization in many ways- with Data Journalism, management, and research as the common thread. I am proud to have been with the CareSet team since the beginning, and to have supported our transition to a single company with an increased focus on Data Leadership.
