My studies in Cal State Dominguez Hills have led to my growing interest in Entertainment Management. I have a tremendous interest and affection for models, singers, song writers, actors and anyone who expresses their passion in order to positively affect those who see or hear their art. I wish to learn the skills to be able to protect and help artists grow. As someone who has written a few plays and worked with the LA Opera I have come to appreciate artists’ hard work and detailed organization that has to happen so everything happens smoothly both in front and behind the curtains. And as someone who has a passion for acting and who used this passion to climb out of my shy shell, I will use these exact emotions to help the artists, who are to shy, explore ideas and concepts outside their comfort zone. I am also interested in growing my Marketing skills specifically in Social Media where trends can be finicky and change often. Marketing can provide me with the skills needed to build my artist’s brand and aim their content to the correct audience. I have interest in volunteering for events for Entertainment Management companies in order to gain experience and see how all the nitty gritty details come to play.
