I have gained my experience as a legal assistant and calendar clerk at the Law Offices of Andrew J. Costella and Brill Legal Group, respectively. I have worked with both No-Fault arbitration and Criminal Defense where I learned to use Smart Advocate and Westlaw. My training was supervised by Paralegals with years of experience. With these mentors I learned the following skills that would make me a perfect candidate to fill this role.Filing case documents with the American Arbitration Association and with the local and NY courts, Clear and concise communication with clients through email, telephone, fax, and physical mail, and organization methods that best fit the attorney assigned to each case.I am a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver who is able to work effectively in a team environment. As a Legal Assistant, I collected and integrated data from client interactions into CRM and accounting software, which required a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Additionally, as the President of Purchase Student Senate, Inc., I generated and managed the bylaws of a million-dollar non-profit that hundreds of students on campus relied on for all their entertainment needs. Having worked as a Deputy Inventory Cluster Support at Barnes & Noble and a Calendar Clerk at Brill Legal Group, I have developed a solid foundation in managing calendars and coordinating schedules.
