Duties includes component selection, system designs to meet (NEBS/UL/ETSI), thermal analysis on component & system level, stress analysis on System level, verified & approve board layouts. Construct BOMs for system level to PCBA Level & field replaceable unit. Guide projects from proto stage to production at aggressive schedules. Multi-task projects and work closely with electrical engineers, software group, PLM, marketing and manufacturing for completeness. Document control - Initiate ECN / ECO of proto to production BOM release. Set process and procedures for proper documentation flow and sign off. Set requirements and check list of test requirements and documentation from all function of completeness. Assign ECN / ECO / MCO / DEV workflow for sign off & stages. Ensuring completeness of documentation from PCBA to System / Chassis level. Component Engineering - Process EOL components from discrete to major critical components. Set process and procedure of ROHS Directive. 2nd Sourcing of components. Assess implementation phase/cut-in of EOL component and align with documentation for release.Regulatory Engineers - Design and validate system for FCC, UL, FDA and NEBS certification. Ensure design meets and exceed certification levels from electrical and environmental standpoint. Assist change from Mechanical and Electrical, if required, for recertification. Work with outside services for testing capabilities.Engineering Lab - Assess equipment needs and requirements per project / design. Inventory equipment and assign to projects & engineers

Design and Manufacture over 50 enclosure products from standalone pedestals and transformers enclosures from 400V to 110V power distribution. Document Fabrication drawing and Bill of Material. Design criteria are NEMA enclosures that house electrical components for residential and commercial/industrial customers. Designs are to meet UL Safety certifications. Documentation control through a localized server (PDM). Review customer submittal and calculated material pricing and provide power consumption per design.Overlook production process and schedule. Initiate work order for planning and fabrication process. Provide directions of production issues and support fabrication sheet metal house of manufacturing issue and resolution. Provide direction of finishes – such as power coat or paint finishes. Review priorities with sheet metal fabricators and manage planning for assemblies. Work with buyer for kitting and new purchase parts.

Design & draft sheet metal enclosure for Wireless Communication Equipment’s. Design external / outdoor enclosure that enclose Communication systems. Design for NEBS (GR1089 & GR63), ETSI & NEMA. Work with various Engineer to meet design goals such printed circuit board designers with component placements, thermal and air flow considerations. Generate test criteria & goals, such as drop test, salt fog & vibe. Support CM on prototype assemblies from enclosure to system integration. Aide Operations on-sites installations such as: cell towers, Micro Cells & NEBS compliant install site. Documentation control using SAP & (NFM) Network file management. Generate specification component details for documentations & construct system level BOM’s for ECN’s and ECO’s for approvals.
