Accad.prof.dr. Almir Badnjevic, dirctor of Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Received PhD in Electrical Engineering at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing Zagreb, University of Zagreb, Croatia. From 2008, he is simultaneously gaining experience in both Business and Academic area.Established one of the most equipped laboratories for testing and inspection of Medical Devices in Europe, named Verlab. Globaly he introduced a concept AI evidence based management of maintenance of medical devices. Verlab established the first private Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices and Artificial Intelligence.In the Academic area, he works as a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at International Burch University and he is also working as a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo in the field of Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering and Expert Systems.He is ordinary member of European Academy of Science and Art (Salzburg, Austria), fellow of World Academy of Art and Science - WAAS (USA) and ordinary member of International Academy of Science and Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.He founded Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society which is country representative of IFMBE and EAMBES. This Society had organized from 2015 every two years International Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering (CMBEBIH).He is the Board member in IEEE, IFMBE and EAMBES.He is the author and co-author of more than 200 publications. His CV is included in Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 2016. He is IEEE Senior Member. In 2021 named as IEEE EMBS Distinguished lecturer.In 2022 he was selected in top 2% Scientists worldwide by Standord University.He and his team received the Clinical Engineering best manuscript award for 2018. From 2019, he is the member of Supervisory Board at Privredna Banka Sarajevo.
