I have over 17 years experience in Global Correspondent Banking.I am currently responsible for FI relationships with banks in the USA, Mexico, Middle East, Africa and Latin America at National Bank of Canada, Montreal.Prior to moving to Canada, I was leading the FIG team at Dukhan Bank, Qatar (previously ibq) overlooking the bank’s worldwide network of correspondent banks and leading the bank’s FI business development. I joined ibq in 2012 as a Relationship Manager primarily for the purpose of establishing the FI Unit. In 2013, I received ibq’s Employee Excellence Award for Leadership, and was later promoted to Head in 2014.I started my career in 2006 as a Relationship Officer, International Division at Fransabank sal, Beirut where I was in charge of developing and maintaining key correspondent banking relationships in the Levant, Turkey, GCC and North Africa. I was promoted to Senior Relationship Officer in 2011.I have an MBA in Banking & Finance from the Lebanese American University (LAU), Beirut. I am also a graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB), Beirut holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. I am a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.I am an enthusiastic traveler.
