About Almond Lau

Throughout my journey at UW, I graduated with my BSME and went on to pursue my Master's degree, only to find myself loving the research I do at the Novosselov Research Group and transferring into the PhD program to continue the projects I am on. Although I am a mechanical engineering student, my work on PFAS treatment and MOF synthesis involves much more chemical engineering and materials science. As a student, I am very organized, detail-oriented, and driven. Outside of school, my hobbies include helping others, reading, listening to music, and enjoying the outdoors.
