Talisa Almonte established her LLC under the name Almonte Studio in March 2021 in honor of her father who had a creative business of his own under Almonte Estudio in Dominican Republic. Since her father was the person that introduced her to world of art and design at a young age and because he passed away in February 2021, she felt this was the best way to honor him and continue his legacy. Talisa is a Dominican Afro-Latina artist and digital illustrator with a background in fashion, graphic design and traditional fine arts. She believes in the importance of individuality, diversity, being authentic and creating messages of positivity.
