Part of the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC) within the Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) Directorate. - Co-directed the Big Data Regional Innovation Hubs and Spokes Program. - Coordinated planning, review, and oversight of cooperative agreements managed by OAC, including high-performance computing acquisitions, data infrastructure, and software institutes. - Assisted with the management of the Petascale Computing Resource Allocation (PRAC) Program. - Performed text mining and data analysis/visualization to support program related decision making.- Assisted with the planning and execution of biannual meetings of the Advisory Committee for Cyberinfrastructure (ACCI). - Managed a monthly seminar series on data science related activities throughout the foundation.

Studied the use of graphene as a veil between defective surfaces and atomic adsorbates.

Studied the process behind the chemical functionalization of graphene through simulation and theory, with focus on hydrogenation, oxygenation, and fluorination.

Guided six 24 student recitation sections for Introductory Electricity and Magnetism (PHYS 212). Students were given a short review of lecture material followed by a worksheet to be completed in groups. Also assisted in laboratory sections, answering questions about weekly experiments.

Assisted a 6th grade teacher and her classroom in Harrisburg, PA by enhancing the science curriculum and performing in-person lessons. Lessons included solar system, crystal growth, and Lego-based structure building activities. Each academic year culminated in a field trip to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA.

Was rewarded a National Undergraduate Fellowship in plasma physics and fusion energy sciences. Constructed a web interface for the creation of Gyrokinetic Turbulence simulations with Tokamak fusion data. Project involved web programming in Python, PHP, and MySQL.
