I have lived in Tofino for 28 years, owning my own successful cafe Breakers Fresh Food Cafe, for 15 of these years. I love living in a resort community with tourism and sustainable community development on the forefront. Over the years I have enjoyed being a coordinator and volunteer for many Tofino festivals and events, building relationships with committees, clients and developing efficient systems for successful events. In 2010, I co-founded Feast Tofino, a collaborative culinary event between sustainable fisheries, local and celebrity chefs. Food security is very dear to my heart and I am very proud to have coordinated this event for many years.
