Advisor: Prof. Donghai Wang-Development of alloy/carbon composite interlayers by slurry casting for stable operation for all solid-state sodium batteries. (Manuscript under preparation) -Synthesis and surface characterization of self-lithiated Sn-C interlayer to enable stable plating/stripping (7000 hours) of Li metal in all solid-state Li-S batteries; assisted a Post Doc for characterization and discussions (Published in Advanced Materials)-Report writing and presentation of research to the scientists from Pacific Northwest National Lab.

Advisor: Prof. Naoaki Yabuuchi-Developed a Na-ion deficient P3-type layered titanium-based material through ion-exchange method as anode for fast-charging Na-ion batteries; achieved 125 mAh g-1 capacity with 80% charging in 3 minutes. (Manuscript submitted)-Synthesized a novel chromium-based P3-type layered cathode for stable K-ion batteries; 98% capacity retention after 500 cycles. (Published in Energy Advances)-Optimized the synthesis conditions to fabricate highly crystalline Na-Bi-Sb alloy materials for topological transition study via X-ray Compton Scattering for a multi-national collaboration research (Manuscript submitted)

Advisor: Prof. Chandra Shekhar Sharma-Developed facile and easily scalable manufacturing techniques to produce solvent and binder-free pencil-based anodes for high capacity Li-ion Batteries. (2 national awards for this project; published in Proceedings of Indian National Academy of Sciences)-Demonstrated commercialization potential of the pencil-based anodes fabricated by slurry casting using full cell studies with NMC/LFP cathodes in Li-ion batteries; achieved an energy density of 155 Wh kg-1 in LFP full-cell. (Published in Journal of Alloys and Compounds)
