HIGHLIGHTS While living in Shanghai, I was an Event Manager, managing an extensive range of events for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. These events included Government Delegations, Canada's National Day Celebration, Gala Balls, Banquet Dinners, Business Seminars, Staff Annual Celebrations, a variety of Social Mixers, and Roundtable Seminars.I coordinated with teams internally and externally for event planning and execution, using both English and Mandarin; putting my University degree to good useI transitioned into an Executive Assistant role for the following two years. While in Shanghai I held the position of Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Rio Tinto China, and held the role of Business support superintendent for the office, where I organized and hosted our monthly Health, Safety, and Environment meeting, and led our local Business Resilience program. Anyone familiar with the mining industry will understand how integral safety training is to the culture of a mining company.Currently I am based in my hometown of Vancouver Canada, where I work at the inspiring Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. I am the Board Secretary and Government Relation Liaison, where I manage and organize matters pertaining to our C-Suite Board of Directors. I have the tremendous opportunity to learn from their expertise and am continually inspired by these individuals.
