Industrial Development Platform

I have spent over 9 years in Everstone group, managing the various real estate initiatives of the group (which includes Everstone and IndoSpace). In Everstone, I have successfully invested over USD 600 mn of equity and managed development of over 16 mn sq ft across all sectors of real estate including Retail, Commercial, Hotel and Industrial.Currently, as Managing Director of IndoSpace Capital Advisors (lndoSpace is the investment advisor to two private equity funds with USD 580 mn of equity under management), I am responsible for investment to develop Industrial Real Estate in India. The responsibilities include identifying investment opportunities in industrial real estate, monitoring developments, achieving financial closure and exiting the projects after development and leasing. In IndoSpace I have managed development of over 4.5 mn sq ft of industrial parks and has committed over USD 300 mn of equity (for development of about 14 mn sq ft, at a total project cost of over USD 1.0 bn).In Everstone Capital (Everstone is the investment advisor to two real estate private equity funds of USD 300 mn ) I have invested over USD 300 mn equity for development of Mixed use Real Estate projects, encompassing development of about 12 mn sq ft of projects involving a total capital outlay of about USD 1.0 bn.

iGATE was a successful entrepreneurship stint, wherein, I Developed the Investment Banking KPO Practice of iGATE. The responsibility included preparation of the business plan and go to market strategies, defining service capabilities,developing delivery models and signing client contracts. In a stint panning two years, successfully developed new client relationships and set up a client delivery system with a total head count of over 50 people and a total revenue of about USD 20 mn.

Worked in the Transaction Advisory Services group in Ernst & Young and handled acquisitions, fund raising, merger and divestment across various sectors including Real Estate. In the stint of over 4 years in EY has independently handled over 12 transactions involving domestic and international companies

In SBI Capital Markets, was part of the Capital Markets Group, which advised clients on the fund raising options and subsequently assisting clients in fund raising. In a stint over two years have handled Public Issues of Equity and Debt and Private Placement of debt.
