Driving monitoring/observability enhancements for Cloud SQL MySQL to bring the best cloud database experience for customers. Partnering with key enterprise customers and helping them migrate MySQL environments to CloudSQL. Providing recommendations on instance sizing, high availability, database configuration, backup, retention policy and other best practices.

- Worked as Remote MySQL DBA/Consultant in Percona Managed Services/Professional Services teams and managed a large fleet of MySQL servers including simple source/replica setup to complex multi-node clusters.- Designed, implemented and maintained MySQL database servers for optimal performance and scalability, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.- Monitored database performance and implemented strategies to optimize database performance, including OS/MySQL configuration tuning, query optimization, schema design.- Worked closely with a geographically distributed team of remote DBAs, collaborated on troubleshooting complex database issues, sharing knowledge and best practices, and ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) were met for customers.- Implemented and managed high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as replication, clustering, backup/restore and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.- Monitored databases for potential issues and proactively identify and resolve performance and availability problems, such as database crashes, slow queries or server capacity issues.- Successfully executed multiple complex projects such as MySQL major version upgrades from 5.5/5.6 to 5.7 or 5.7 to 8.0, migrating large MySQL environments to new data centers or cloud.- Performed routine critical maintenance tasks such as schema changes, backup/restore, replication setup, query optimization, checksum/sync, failover, minor version upgrades, data archival etc for ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.- Participated in on-call rotation to ensure timely resolution of critical issues and maintain system availability.

Working closely with customers and answering their queries in real time via Skype/Phone.- Working with customers and Percona server development team to identify the bugs, collecting stacktrace.- Performing Major and Minor MySQL server version upgrade on customers servers.- Working on Routine consulting cases to answer customer's queries related to MySQL, PXC, Backup, Replication, HA etc via email.- Maintaining documentation and sending summary of work done to customers for every engagement. - Presented a talk in Percona Live Data Performance Conference, Amsterdam 2015 on title "Node provisioning & state transfer in Percona XtraDB Cluster". - Co-presented 3 hours tutorial on "MySQL High Availability with Percona XtraDB Cluster 5.7" in Percona Live Data Performance Conference, Amsterdam 2016 with Peter Zaitsev and Krunal Bauskar.
