As Chief Operating Officer, I serve on the executive management team and lead critical operational functions, including human resources, marketing, data analytics, facilities/procurement, and information technology. In this role, I oversee the shared service operations that support the diverse portfolio of companies within Kompass Kapital.I drive operational excellence and efficiency across the organization through strategic leadership and collaborative cross-functional coordination. • Lead the business and financial operations as well as legal matters for award-winning media company that operates multiple sports radio stations, including ESPN affiliates, in both Kansas City (Sports Radio 810 WHB and ESPN KC 1510/94.5) and Louisville, Kentucky (ESPN 680 and 93.9 The Ville).• Provide strategic direction on all matters of the business and negotiate various transactions and partnerships with multiple parties including local professional and college sports teams, NASCAR, Westwood One and ESPN.• Handle all legal and regulatory matters for the company, including general corporate, employment, litigation, real estate, contracts, licensing and media matters.• Perform CFO duties, including review of financials, setting budgets and forecasts and implementing policies and procedures to increase revenue and reduce expenses.

• Provided and managed team of attorneys that provided, transactional support to sales, marketing, sponsorship, finance and product management groups in negotiating and drafting wireless and wireline voice and data service agreements for strategic enterprise business customers, including many Fortune 100 companies, sponsorship agreements with various partners including the NFL, NBA and NASCAR, and VoIP agreements with cable partners; participated in resolution of disputes; negotiated and drafted various other agreements, including M2M, joint marketing, in-building coverage, strategic alliance and settlement agreements.• Served as counsel to business development group supporting various partnerships including spectrum hosting, building of wireless networks and telematics/infotainment systems in automobiles. • Served as counsel to wireless resale (MVNO) group; negotiated and drafted wireless resale agreements with various strategic partners. • Served as key member of legal team supporting wireless strategic cable alliance. • Served as primary legal counsel for content licensing for Sprint’s data services; negotiated and drafted content license agreements with multiple content, game, multi-media application and ring tone providers. • Served in general counsel capacity to Sprint business unit, which was a provider of integrated product and service solutions to businesses; provided transactional support in sales and procurement areas; reviewed advertisements and press releases; provided counsel on disputes and employment matters; participated in weekly executive strategic meetings with President of business unit.

• Responsible for researching, drafting and reviewing corporate documents in connection with organization, operation and dissolution of business entities.• Key member of team performing corporate representation of premier national medical research institute with endowment of over $2 billion; provided corporate secretary function, negotiated and drafted procurement agreements, employment agreements and various alliance agreements with multiple research hospitals and universities.• Negotiated and managed various business transactions, including acquisition of stock in major airline parts manufacturer, acquisition of assets in freight transportation company, acquisition of partnership owning real estate in Times Square area of New York City, sale of stock in regional appraisal company to prominent national company and investment by venture capital firm in privately held energy company.
