Developed and managed knowledge management strategies, systems, and plan. Led cutting-edge research, systematic review and evaluations for the generation of knowledge and evidence to support the advocacy, grant making, and scaling up. Planned, led and oversaw multiple research studies, baseline, end-line, and impact evaluations.Led rapid assessment survey with young population to understand the impact of COVID 19 on them in three states of UP, Bihar and Rajasthan. Planned and commissioned another survey in five states (April-May, 2020).Member of Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) Performance Monitoring and Evidence Working Group (PME WG) for two years (2016-18). Led research, consultations and drafting of the State Population Policy for the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Government of Uttar Pradesh adopted and released the policy in July, 2021. Member of the Common Review Mission (CRM) fielded by Government of India under National Health Mission to the states of Bihar and Uttarakhand. Currently, Fellow to Lancet Commission in India to support research for citizens engagement work stream.

Held the position of Director/Technical Expert, Monitoring & Evaluation at Catholic Relief Services for India Country Programme. Led and supported country M&E team and experts in developing strong planning, monitoring and evaluation systems to improve program quality as well as to support institutional learning. Headed Strategic Development Interventions, specialized in strategic planning and management, organizational development, capacity building, research & advocacy, monitoring and evaluation of non-profit organizations.- Carried out the independent impact evaluation of Unifem’s (UN Women) Regional Anti-Trafficking Programme in South Asia covering India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. This was the Flagship Programme of Unifem, South Asia (September, 2009 – February, 2010).- Consultant to UNICEF. Carried out a Situational Analysis of Education in Rajasthan and developed the Strategic Plan for its proposed collaboration with Ministry of Education, Government of State of Rajasthan, India in support of Rajasthan Education Initiative, an ambitious public private partnership initiative to improve public education in the State.- Carried out the impact evaluation of project of Foundation for Educate Girls Globally, promoting girls’ education in 500 schools in Pali district of Rajasthan state of India. Designed the Monitoring and Evaluation framework for the project earlier. - Senior Consultant to Educational Technology and Management Academy, India. Carried out an Assessment of Emerging Technologies for application in Education. - Country Coordinator, India for International Center on Child Labor and Education, USA.

Facilitated GeSCI Country Programme in the state of Rajasthan in India in support of Rajasthan Education Initiative and provided consultancy, advice and support to Ministry of Education, Rajasthan Government towards improving the public education in the state. GeSCI was founded by UN ICT Task Force to support Ministries of Education in developing countries on the effective use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for education and communities of learning.Engaged in facilitation of GeSCI’s strategic programme with Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India towards developing India’s first National Policy on ICT in School Education.

Global March against Child Labour is an international coalition of civil society organizations, including NGOs, Trade Unions, Teachers Unions and others in defense of children's rights. The network has over 2000 members from across 145 countries.Oversaw the emergence of GM’s strategic direction, development, management and monitoring of programmes, strategies and partnerships aimed at child participation and protection, particularly child labour prevention and elimination, education for all and advocacy for greater coherence in policies and actions around poverty alleviation, education for all and child labour elimination.Led a team of professionals and interns at the Global March International Secretariat and coordinated networking, partnership building, advocacy, campaigns, research, fund raising, capacity building, HR and financial management activities of the Global March.Managed strategic partnership and coordinated with the Global March Regional Coordinators at Nairobi, Lomé, San Jose, Lima, Moscow, Milan, Santiago, Kathmandu, and Manila, International Advocacy Office at Washington D.C. and National Coordinators to develop, coordinate and monitor regional plans and strategies.Planned, mobilized resources and organized Children’s World Congress on Child Labour and Education in Florence, Italy and New Delhi, India in 2004 and 2005 respectively.Coordinated the research on status of the worst forms of child labour. Member of the Mission to carry out Country research in India and Bangladesh on inter-linkages of child labour elimination, education for all and poverty alleviation. Member of Seventh Editorial Board of the EFA Global Monitoring Report organized by UNESCO as Global March Representative.
