I am a curious and analytical individual with excellent observation skills and a problem-solver mentality. I have a Ph.D. in materials science, where my thesis focused on developing and applying data science methods to predict new materials. I have experience in data analysis and visualization of materials databases, as well as automating data creation processes. My thesis predicted six new unknown materials, and the judges commended the work and its presentation. In addition to my academic experience, I have a strong track record of volunteer work, where I have developed my skills in organizational finances and decision-making, project management, and teamwork. I am also currently developing a mobile app that takes recipes from a weekly meal planner and makes shopping with intention to make price comparisons and nutritional composition of the diet.I am passionate about using data science to solve real-world problems, and I am excited to contribute to a team that is using data to make a difference.
