Listen Africa was a start-up company that set out to acquire digital music rights to African music catalogues and distributing the music tracks digitally. My roles involved all technical aspects of the business from networking and infrastructure to building websites, investigating DRM (digital rights management) platforms and digital security. The company shut its doors with the investors withdrawing on the back of the 'Dot Bomb' in the early 2000's.
