Recreation Therapist
Current• Provide coordination and implementation of delinquency intervention for male and female committed juvenile population, levels 6-10, ages 14-20• Administrator of Positive Performance System (PPS)• Coordinate therapeutic and recreational activities for facility youth• Support restoration of motor, social, and cognitive functioning • Follow Restorative Justice Program Implementations protocol• Facilitate meetings of Impact of Crime and Thinking 4 a Change groups• Promotion of restorative justice within the community• Organize company social events and community building activities• Plan, direct, and coordinate medically-approved recreational programs for the youth• Develop coping skills and help youth integrate those skills from the treatment setting to the community setting
