We use GraphQL on the backend, React on the frontend, and I led our adoption of Relay as the glue between the two.

Space10 is IKEA's innovation lab, based in Copenhagen. Through 2019 and 2020, I built a series of prototypes to explore how Augmented Reality can power new kinds of experiences in the home.My most recent project ("Room Editor") debuted on [EverydayExperiments.com](http://everydayexperiments.com) - it allows you to take a photo of your living space, and "erase" part of it with your finger. Then, a GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) is used to fill in the missing pixels. Finally, you can select a new piece of furniture and drag it in place. The results are really magical!Several earlier prototypes are unfortunately not public, but bits of them may appear in different IKEA products and services going forwards.

I worked with the Skybox/TerraBella/GoogleSatellites team to build software products that combined satellite imagery (from our SkySat constellation) with AI-extracted data.

Building software to enable smarter offices. Designed and built a distributed network of Raspberry Pis that relayed data from nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices to the web. Oversaw design and prototyping of a small sensor package to report ambient conditions to the web.Buit a low-latency backend that streamed data from this network of hardware devices to connected frontend + backend clients.Also built several proof-of-concept demos, worked on several client projects, and built tools to manage our growing army of connected devices.During this time, I deep-dove on AngularJS and ultimately used to it replace Backbone in my frontend stack. OMR/Robin also gave me an excellent opportunity to further advance my Node skills, in an extremely challenging environment.

Built an engine for rendering photo compositions to short, shareable videos.

With a small team, researched and designed the ADAC (attitude determination and control) subsystem - responsible for orienting the satellite while in-orbit.As part of an educational outreach program, helped construct and launch an arduino-based balloon satellite that captured data at altitudes of up to 100,000 feet.

Assisted in developing and building satellite calibration ranges - distributed regions of targets to make it possible to calibrate aircraft- and satellite- based camera platforms in-flight.Developed and implemented a method to assess the geodetic accuracy of aerial imageryPlanned, coded, and tested a remote sensing image catalog, built on top of Google EarthDeveloped methodology for quantification of aerial image resolution, based on pixel response.Worked on both large and small teams in a government/contractor environment.
