Joined Global Strategy Group as its first-ever full-time Head of Technology. Successfully transitioned GSG’s on-premises systems to the cloud while introducing new network infrastructure (Cisco Meraki) and new platforms for identity management (Okta), document management (Box), collaboration (Slack), and videoconferencing (Zoom). Migrated GSG from a 9-year old Salesforce CRM system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE for CRM and PSA. Immediately reduced annual licensing costs by 34% while expanding the system's capabilities to better track GSG’s work from initial lead through project completion.

Established the IT team for this $20M international NGO that is focused on expanding educational opportunity around the world. Joined the organization when it was still an incubated startup and supported its growth from 33 staff across 9 countries to 130 staff across 16 countries. Set up the entire technology framework, including implementing Salesforce to be both the CRM and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Introduced Drupal for web content management to launch a series of web properties, including a fully redesigned Teachforall.org. The new Teachforall.org would win Best Non-Profit Website at the 2014 Blue Drop Awards, an independent awards program honoring projects that best exemplify the Drupal platform.Expanded Teach For All’s strategic IT support for its 36 national organizations. Co-developed a highly successful service line that provided these national organizations with targeted consulting services toward data management strategy and Salesforce support. This resulted in 30 of these organizations adopting Salesforce and utilizing it for better data-driven decision making. Also provided CIO advisory services to the Heads of IT at several national organizations, including Enseña Chile, Teach For China, and Teach For India.

Started the Business Projects department, a new cross-functional technology team responsible for leading corporate-wide IT initiatives that supported this global electronic manufacturer’s growth from 600 to 1,200 employees and from $250M to $400M in revenues. Improved operational efficiencies by introducing new enterprise applications and business processes. Implemented SAP ERP, SAP CRM, and SAP BI, as well as ADP HRIS, ADP Time & Attendance, and ADP Payroll. Highlighted results include improving sales order processing times by 50%, reducing payroll processing times by 500%, and reducing tech support costs by $100K annually.

Led enterprise technology projects at both national and regional health plans for Deloitte's Health Care & Life Sciences Practice. These included managing a Project Management Office (PMO) at Wellpoint, Inc. (now Anthem, Inc.) and a major Siebel CRM/e-Commerce implementation at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Promoted to be a senior member of this global IT consulting firm's $15M Healthcare Solutions Group, with direct responsibilities for client and project management, financial reporting, and proposal development. Led several award-winning web development projects, including Medicare.gov and Blue Shield of California's (now retired) Mylifepath.com. Medicare.gov would win both 1999 Best Government Site and 2000 Best Health Plan site from eHealthcareWorld, while Mylifepath.com would win two awards from Strategic Health Care Communications, including 2001 Gold for Best Overall Internet Site (HMO/PPO). [American Management Systems was acquired by CGI in May 2004.]
