The main responsibility in DOSMEP is to manage IT/IS System, these including: website, local network, Internet and servers. Another major responsibility for this role is to manage and update information database that related to SME Promotion and Development. Apart from being technical in IT/IS, this role requires to:- disseminate information, regulations, policies and business opportunities to SMEs;- promote the use of ICT to SMEs;- publish SME Statistic, SME White Paper and SME Newsletter- organize the training courses, seminars, and workshops on promoting productivity and quality.- promote and improve the quality of production and commerce- promote the productivity and quality of the enterprises’ operation and to upgrade the skill of entrepreneurs’ management for better quality of work and competitiveness in the region
