I am a senior database engineer at Trendyol Group, the leading e-commerce platform in Turkey and the MENA region. My core competencies include database management, performance and query optimization, configuration management, provisioning and installation, backup and HA/DR operations, security and role management, troubleshooting, RCA and monitoring database systems.In my current role, I work with Couchbase, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Neo4j and SQL Server databases on AWS and on premise data center. I use Ansible, Terraform and Gitlab CI for automation and deployment, and ELK, Grafana, Alertmanager, Prometheus and PRTG for monitoring and alerting. I collaborate with the development, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the database systems. I contribute to the design and implementation of data models, schemas, indexes, queries, and tuning strategies. I also support the migration and integration of data from various sources and platforms. I am passionate about learning new technologies and best practices in the field of database engineering.
