Welcome! I am a final-year medical student and researcher. My research focuses on the evolutionary biology of structures: the soluble proteins, and the membranous ones that interact with lipid molecules in cell membranes.Markov chain Monte Carlo simulations reconstruct ancestral sequences and infer substitution rates under various evolutionary models. By analyzing phylogenetic trees, I investigate the selection pressures that shape protein landscapes. Molecular dynamics simulations, driven by force fields, allow me to explore the three-dimensional protein landscape at an atomic level. Then, employing different statistical mechanics frameworks comes in to find mathematical approaches to quantify all these parameters. With them, I can also analyze protein folding pathways and binding kinetics, including van der Waals contributions to Gibbs free energy.However, evolution operates not just on a grand scale, but also at the level of individual amino acids. This is where game theory and further genetics step in. Each mutation represents a "move" with its fitness payoff, influenced by interactions with the surrounding protein environment and potential competitors, representing a network of Nash equilibria in coordination games around the conveyance of information. My main focus is applying the Mathematical Game Theory and Extensive Form Structures to protein evolution.Beyond evolutionary pathways, I actively contribute to projects addressing modulator design for vital proteins. Through these efforts, I aim to translate evolutionary insights into advancements in human health and well-being. I have recent but deemed notable contributions in the field of analyzing membrane protein systems, linking the bridge of synthetic QTY proteins and natural selection.
