As methods engineer in Hema Ind. Corp., I am responsible for the processes of engine block, crankshaft and cast part machining plants.These plants have 3 engine block machining line,2 crankshaft machining and assembly line, sump machining line and a transmission box machining line. Totally there are over 100 machining centers.These are the main responsibilities of my positionin Hema Ind. Corp.For current manufacturing proceses making improvements of quality and performance, reducing general production expenses.Taking permanent actions to eliminate root causes about occured quality issues.In order to support marketing department for RFQ's recieved from customers, making studies of cycle times, toolins, fixturing, gauging and measuring system studies for future parts. Tracking the fixture making, tooling purchasing, gauging purchasing, prototype casting,sample manufacturing issues of the new part projects according to the comited project plans.To achieve the best cycle time, quality and expenses for current parts and new projects seeking for; Best manufacturing method, Best manufacturing machine Bext fixturing Best cutting tool Best machining parameters Best measuring system and methods.Controlling and approving the manufacturing instructions and drawings prepared by method specialists before the release.Coordinating the flow of information of revised of parts from customer to shop floor by manufacturing instructions.Preparing and improving of packaging standarts in order to provide safe and reliable shipment and shopfloor loading.Making layout studies to reduce non value added transport activities.

In Termo Teknik, which is one of the leading factories in panel radiator manufacturing, I worked as project engineer in auxiliary facilities and engineering services department. Main responsibilities of mine are listed below. Requesting the materials needed during project progress from purchasing department via SAP MM modul.Reporting the material supply, controlling and warning the purchasing department for critical materials of projects.Offering projects to achieve better quality and performance for the panel radiator production processes.(Refractory welding electrodes, alternating the spare part suppliers,)Reporting project budgets.Preparing project achievement reports in MS Project 2013.(Basic Level)Organising meetings with suppliers of project materials. Reporting and managing the maintenance of lift truck and devices.

After my military service I began working in Kare Metal Form Ltd. Şti. which is a light alloy wheel manufacturer. I was the manufacturing engineer of low pressure casting, CNC machining, surface pretreatment, powder coating and spray painting processes. During 8 months I was mainly responsible for;-Coordinating and planning the production demands of sales department for abroad and domestic customers.-Reporting the weekly performance indicators for operations.(Parts per day, scrap rate, rework rate, breakdown time)-Planning the periodic maintenance of machines.-Controlling the raw material and utilities like packing material supply, requesting the necessary items from purchasing department. -Achieving the special requests of customers on finished product or auxiliary materials as package, ring,bolt/nut.

TECHNOcast, which is one of the suppliers of BSH, is a plastic injection molding factory and also has divisions for assemblying household appliances. I was employed in TECHNOcast as Quality Engineer for about one and half a year. During this time I accomplished objectives like these:-Implementing the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System to plastic injection and assembly divisions of the factory.-Composing the procedures, instructions and building a controlled document structure.-Writing quality control plans about outsourced parts,plastic injected parts and groupped parts for costumer satisfaction and sustaining reliable production.-Setting a traceability system up with cooperation of planning department.-Assuring the reliability and repeatability for measuring equipment.-Setting a sample storing systematic from production lots.-Doing analysis of process capability for new parts with MINITAB.-Doing analysis of machine capability for new machines or overhauled machines with MINITAB.-Applying SPC methods by using the control charts at operator level for online control of process and training the machine operators for measuring production parts. -Analysing measurement systems with MINITAB for repeatibility and reproducibility of system ; solving problems about measuring systems. -Monthly analysis of the production forms for improperty reasons and reprorting them by Pareto analysis in MINITAB and having role in solving problems .-Training the personel for using Mitutoyo CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine and implementing the machine to system. -Preparing and introducing the Quality Management System of the factory as the management representative for system audits of customers.

Group of Companies based in Oberderdingen, Germany - which started operating in Turkey in 1989, produces in its Çorlu facilities tubular heating elements, radiant heating elements and castings for the household appliances. In my factory organisation based internship I practised in E.G.O. Turkey for 30 business days. I made time studies in tool workshop, forming ,welding and final assembly departments.
