Managed the end-to-end business analysis, development and maintenance of e-commerce software and technology infrastructure of ofix.com including store front, site administration, procurement, marketing, sales, customer relations, logistics and finance. Managed a team of 19 with 3 direct reports. Reported to the board.Designed and led the cloud transformation project for Ofix codenamed “v3”. The project consisted of rebuilding the (formerly monolithic) Ofix codebase completely from ground up in client service architecture. Having high availability and scalability as the primary objectives, the infrastructure is moved from on-premises to Microsoft’s Azure cloud. The Azure components are particularly picked from platform services (PaaS) to take full advantage of the cloud including management and cost efficiency.Built a full-strength IT team from scratch including project managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, technical architects, frontend developers, backend developers, DBAs, DevOps and test engineers. Introduced agile software development, continuous integration/continuous deployment approach and improved collaboration culture.Actively participated in all phases of the v3 project including business analysis, customer interviews, requirements gathering, UI/UX design, data modelling, database design, components architecture design, frontend & backend software development, testing and deployment.Managed all local and international third-party relations, deals and correspondence with vendors, technology partners, service providers, outsource providers and freelancers.Initiated and managed the microservices transformation project for Ofix codenamed “v4”. The project was in the business analysis and UI design phase and would follow with the steps of UX design, frontend development, API design, DB design, cloud microservices architecture design and development of web portals and mobile applications.
