Alper Turan is currently working as Deputy General Manager at Formplast. (was Sales Director)He worked at Nitto Otomotiv as AAM and KAM. He took an active role to establish a local production and sales company in Turkey, looked for suitable places in all industry zones around Tuzla/Gebze area, met with the industry zone management to know the administrational issues, looked for outsource companies.Defining the targets and budget for each fiscal period to report, finding suitable subcontractors to build up a cooperation, creating, managing and developing portfolio of clients across the country are his other tasks.He started his professional business life in Kronos Bilgisayar as the 1st web designer by designing Flash animated web sites. As Application Manager he built “Take a Web” the customized web site builder for home users and developed web based softwares like CRM and ERP. He also managed other developers, demonstrated softwares, provided after sales support and trained customers. In paralel of his daily working life he studied MBA in Dogus University to improve his admin skills on top of his education of Industrial Engineering in Istanbul University.He continued his business career in automotive industry, by starting in Farplas Otomotiv A.S as Project Engineer. He prepared offers for plastic injection parts as well as plastic injection tools and managed projects for both domestic and foreign customers. He also made benchmark studies for Mahle GmbH, which allowed him to be the 1st employee of Mahle Farplas Filtersystems Jointventure Company later on. In Mahle Farplas JV he worked as KAM, made short and long-term sales plans for projects related to the air management systems, implemented ERP software to the company and trained other employees, evaluated the request for quotations, calculated the total manufacturing cost and prepared offers, managed, led and tracked projects. He reported to the Jointventure, Sales and PLG Mng. in Stuttgart/Germany.
