I am a recent graduate with an acumen for Quantitative Analysis and a strong propensity for crunching numbers. I have always had a passion for helping people in need no matter what the requirement has been.My previous tenure at Hansa Research was an eye-opening experience for me. To believe that data is only about cultivation towards meaningful insights is one of the biggest inconsistencies in this world full of data. To network with the right teams, to ask the right questions to the right individuals at the right time makes a whole lot of difference to a project. The excitement lies in the process, not in the output.I had the fortunate opportunity of working on projects assigned from different types of clients, such as FMCG, Telecom, Finance, etc. Under my mentor, my work entailed understanding the requirements of the client, creating drafts of questionnaires, arduously being connected with the field teams for regular updates, and hand-tailoring the data according to the needs of the clients. Every project, related to different clients, had a different form of reporting strategies that took special care and in-depth analysis. All-in-all, I understood, to a decent degree, that to finalise the insights, data is not the key piece of the project.Thus, to get a better understanding of this industry, I enrolled in a program mutually created by Purdue University and IBM, hosted by SimpliLearn. Some of the many courses provided are the basics of R & Python and its usage in Data Science, along with Machine Learning and NLP.
